Dramatis Personae

A roster, not a history. One line each. Detail lives on the faction pages.

House Crosius

Lord-Captain Domenico Crosius	Warrant-holder	Navy officer who inherited a dynasty he never trained for, and keeps refusing to be cruel about it. → House Crosius
Inquisitor Hadrian Thule	Ordo Scriptorum	Came to check a filing discrepancy four years ago. Commands nothing, and therefore commands everything. → House Crosius
Lord Martial Honoria Calvert	Household Regiments	Spends soldiers precisely and writes down exactly why. In the field personally from Auspicia onward, and has not explained the change.
Agent Magpie	Ordo Scriptorum	A handwriting and a file number. Sees the whole Reach and has never been seen anywhere in it.
”The One Who Remains” (Oomvarah)	Xenos, in custody	A Zoat who was present when the machines were built and has outlived everyone who tried to name it. Its testimony is inadmissible and entirely reliable.

The Red Knights of Oblivion

Prince Verux the Unholy	Daemon Prince	Ascended by killing Emperor’s Children, and would very much like to do it again.
Khârn the Betrayer	Iconic Champion of Khorne	A raging storm of slaughter. Here. Somehow.
Ba’rule, Eighth Lord of the Skull Throne	Powerful Demon of Khorne	Bound by pact aboard the Eviscerator Rex. Owed something. Not patient.

The Discordant Duet

Lord Exultant Kaelen	The Right Hand of Excess	Older twin, power spear, straight-edge, insufferable.
Lord Exultant Sylas	The Left Hand of Agony	Sonic mace, weeping stimulant conduits, cannot function without them.
Lord Kakophonist Malakor	The Void-Tuner	Sonic augmetics grafted to his nervous system. His supply is running out.
Obsessionist Varis	The Scalpel of Agony	Rapture Lash, no helmet, unblinking. Leads the Infractors.

The Aeldari of the Sundered Reach

Farseer Aethenor	Craftworld Iyanden reconnaissance force leader	Deceived warleader. Fell at Auspicia in the fourth hour. Iyanden does not lose what it has paid for.
Morvael	Harlequin Solitaire	Rover, wanderer, nomad, vagabond — call him what you will

The Unaligned

These belong to nobody. Anyone may use them.

Saint Ysolde of Vantry	Dead, contested	Farm girl who held the pass for three days. Venerated by tens of millions, recognised by no one — Vantry cannot ratify a saint with Terra out of reach.
House Sabaeus	Navigators, Threnody	The only people who can actually read The Storm. They have an assessment. They have not published it.
The Concordant bloc	Concordia	Hold every world. Abandon nothing.
The Retrenchment bloc	Concordia	Pull back to the inner five and save what can be saved.
House Corvane	Knights, Corvane’s Rest	Oath-bound to Crosius for six thousand years. Down to a handful of working machines, because Skarn can no longer service them.
The forge-clave of Skarn	Adeptus Mechanicus	Cut off from Mars, improvising. They know what that is called.
”the Kill-Team”	Unconfirmed	Persistent reports of Adeptus Astartes operating in the Reach without Chapter support. No one has produced one.
The false Ordo	Unidentified	Personnel operating under Ordo Scriptorum seals the Ordo Scriptorum did not issue. Present at Cerelia and at Auspicia, both times before anyone else.

Adding someone

Anyone may add a character. Two rules:

One line here, detail on your own page. This roster is for scanning before a game.
If they’re on the table, they can die. Except yours — nobody’s character dies without their player agreeing.
